February 2023 Thai Travel Journey (To Be Announced)

Travel with us to amazing Thailand, the land of smiles! Thailand has so much to offer...for body, mind, and spirit. Our trip offers opportunities for professional development, personal growth, wellness and relaxation, fun and adventure, culture awareness, and spiritual connection!  The trip is appropriate for those who wish to study Thai massage as well as for people who simply want to explore this ancient, mystical land. There are different travel options for our 2022 trip, which include exploring Chiang Mai, Thai Massage study, and a relaxing Thai beach retreat.

Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai, “the rose of the North” is the largest city in Northern Thailand. It is considered “the friendliest city in the world” according to Conde Nast’s 2020 Reader’s Choice Award. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, Chiang Mai has a laid back, bohemian vibe, and is one of the top destinations to visit in Southeast Asia. There is so much to see and do in Chiang Mai, including hundreds of ancient temples and sacred sites, Thai massage and spa treatments, yoga, delicious food, elephant sanctuaries, meditation and Buddhist culture, Thai cooking classes, bustling markets, bargain shopping and more!!!

Thai Massage/(aka Thai Yoga Massage)

Chiang Mai is the center of Thai massage training in Thailand. There is an abundance of schools and Thai masters and a variety of course offerings in traditional Thai massage, as well as other bodywork modalities. In addition to Thai massage schools, there are endless spas and businesses where you can receive Thai massage at unbelievable low prices ($10.00 !!!!).

Both beginner and advanced Thai massage practitioners are welcome on this trip. No prior Thai massage experience is needed. Jeanne Coleman/Thai Transformations has traveled to Thailand since 2004 and has studied with several Thai massage schools and masters. She will consult with each participant to help them choose the study experience that meets their goals and needs.

As mentioned previously, people who simply want a travel adventure and do not want to study are also welcome on this trip.

Beach Retreat

The final week of the travel journey will be spent at a luxurious  5 star beach resort overlooking the crystal clear waters of the Andaman sea. You can spend your days relaxing on the beach or at the Infinity pool, savoring the stunning views from the balcony of your ocean front room, and enjoying breathtaking sunsets from the beautiful resort lounge. This luxurious resort has an awarding winning spa, 3 bars, 2 restaurants, yoga deck, and fitness center. It will be the perfect ending to this journey of a lifetime.
